Banquet Room Capacities
The below chart demonstrates the minimum amount of catered guests each room would require in order to waive the room rental fee. You can of course have less people in each room, however if you cater with us that just means there will be a room rental fee incurred based on the number of guests below the minimum. This will be calculated at the time you receive a quote.

* Meeting rooms for seminars, corporate meetings, etc. are available during the week, and are subject to availability on the weekends. They do not follow the above minimums for room rentals.
Room Rentals
Room rental fees are charged based on the number of guests attending that are catered with us. If you do not cater with us then a higher room rental fee will be charged in addition to other services such as staff, plates, cutlery, linens, set up, etc. If you do cater with us and reach the minimum amount of guests required for that room the room rental fee will be waived. The exception to this is the Great Hall which would have a $500 room rental fee if you cater 200-300 guests. If you cater over 300 guests the rental is then waived. If you cater below 200 guests the room rental fee increases.
Without catering the room rentals are as followed on Fridays and Saturdays for an entire day:
- Great Hall: $3000
- Blue and White room: $2000
- Red and White room: $1200
- (Please note that during our busy season each room has a minimum spend, this would included room rental, set up, clean up, plates & cutlery, a fully staffed event, etc). Please call for more details.
In addition to these rental prices we would also charge for: set up, clean up, plates, cutlery, linens, corkage, decor, staff, bartenders, etc, as needed by the customer if they chose to cater from an outside vendor. These are not all mandatory, however if needed we can provide.
Weekday hall rentals vary based on hours needed, services required, etc. Please inquire for more details.
Closing time for banquet rooms is 1:00 AM. All entertainment and bar service will cease promptly at 12:00AM close. If any personnel or equipment related to your function is not removed from the premises by closing plus 1 hour, overtime billing at a rate of $300/hour (and portions thereof) shall commence. The first hour is billable on the hour, in addition to any overtime charges for staff at their respective hourly rates.
Business Meetings
Companies and individuals who wish to rent a room for business meetings, conferences, training sessions etc. can do so for the price of $400 or more (depending on how many people or size of the room) for 4 hours (half a day), or for $600 or more (depending on how many people or size of the room) for 8 hours (full day) session. Larger rooms for 100 guests up to 360 guests range from $800 and up. Additional costs for services, beverages etc. apply and room rental is reduced if catering is provided. Extra table cloths and linens are available on request. Upon request we can also provide in-house catering with your meetings (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks). Meal prices are dependent on what selection is chosen from our menu. If your event is catered then the rental price will change dependent on food cost. Damage Deposit
Damage Deposits are non-refundable if the client cancels their event. Exceptions to this are if the venue is re-booked for another function on the same date at an equivalent value. In such case, the client agrees to the forfeiture of an administrative charge of 25% on the deposit or $300.00 whichever is greater, to be held until the conclusion of the function and ensuring that the Centre can cover all liabilities incurred on the behalf of the client.
- The damage deposit is to reserve the venue and is used in case of any excessive damages which may have been incurred, cleaning that goes above and beyond the standard, or any additional guests who were not expected, therefore not accounted for on the initial invoice. The deposit is returned in full up to 10 business days after the function by cheque.
- The deposit required on premium rates is in addition and precede the applicable catering minimums (which are equivalent to rental fees), and is required to reserve the venue.
Linens & Audio Visual
The Croatian-Canadian Cultural Centre has a variety of rentals available to you upon request. When you book a catered event with us: table cloths, plates, cutlery, tables, and chairs are all included in the cost of the catering rental. If you rent our decoration package then table skirting is included. Please see below for our additional services which can be rented for your event.
